Chatuchak Market



           Chatuchak (or Jatujak) weekend market in Bangkok is the largest market in Thailand. Frequently called J.J., it covers over 35 acres and contains upwards of 5,000 stalls. It is estimated that the market receives 200,000 visitors each day. Most stalls only open on Saturdays and Sundays though Jatujak Plaza, the western section is open daily. In the north west corner is the J.J. Mall, with three floors of assorted oddments as well as eateries. 
          The market offers a wide variety of products including household items, clothing, Thai handicrafts, religious artifacts, collectibles, foods, and live animals. For tourists, there are a number of onsite companies who will send purchases abroad. Tourists also find Chatuchak a prominent place to find skilled Thai iced tea makers practicing their trade. 


MBK Center




         MBK Center, also known as Mahboonkrong is a large shopping mall in Bangkok. At eight stories high, the center hosts around 2,000 stores and services, including the 4-story Tokyu department store, restaurants and entertainment. The MBK Center management reports daily visitor numbers of more than 100,000, half of whom are young Thai people and a third foreign visitors.
        The MBK Center is very popular amongst tourists, particularly Western tourists. It is also very popular with Thai residents with the majority of shoppers being native Bangkok residents. Many stores selling authentic merchandise are also available. MBK Center is worth a visit for any tourist, it is a well known landmark in Bangkok.


Siam Square


        Siam Square  is a shopping and entertainment area in the Siam District of Bangkok. Within Siam Square itself, there is a range of shops and services, including tutor schools, restaurants, cafe, designer clothing boutiques, record stores, bookshops, Hard Rock Cafe, movie theater and banks.The customers vary from young-aged school and college students to office workers and foreign tourists. It is sometimes referred to as the"SoHo" or "Shinjuku of Thailand.


Sampheng


        Sampeng is located near Chinatown, Sampeng is one of Thailand's oldest wholesale districts. If you want to make your own outfit, you'll be able to find everything your heart desires, no matter if its buttons, thread, lace, etc. There is a wide-range of textiles to be found. You'll be sure to find something to take home. Besides everything clothing you will also find gift shops selling gift ideas at wholesale prices, stationary products, and other kinds.
